Hours and Fees

Can I enter without making a reservation?: You can enter without making a reservation. Please purchase tickets at the reception.
However, for group customers, we ask that you make a reservation to ensure smooth operation.

Please tell me the ticket price.: Ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket,Time and Fees.

Can elementary school students enter the museum by themselves?: For safety reasons, we ask that elementary school children not enter the facility alone.
Please come with your guardian.

I have a disability certificate, is there a discount available? Also, do carers have to pay the admission fee?: *Those who present a disability certificate (physical disability certificate, rehabilitation certificate, mental disability health and welfare certificate) and one accompanying person will receive half the regular price (1 yen per person).

Floor access

Is there a car/bicycle parking area?: There is no on-site parking lot. Please park in a nearby paid parking lot. (There are no parking discounts.)
There is a bicycle parking area on the premises (approximately 5 spaces).

Can I take photos inside the building?: Taking photographs inside the building is permitted. However, please be considerate and not cause inconvenience to other customers.

Can I eat and drink inside the building?: Please note that eating and drinking are not permitted inside the museum on the 2nd floor.
Eating and drinking is permitted at the cafe on the first floor. (Bringing in your own food is generally not permitted.)

Can I re-enter the building?: You may re-enter by presenting your ticket stub.

What kind of exhibits are there?: The museum on the second floor displays seasonal and thematic works by paper cutting artist Osamu Kubo.
The permanent exhibit includes "The 90 Seasons Depicted in Paper Cutting," which is 10 centimetres tall and XNUMX metres wide, and allows visitors to experience the four seasons of Japan.

How much time does it take to go around the building?: Although it depends on the individual, it is possible to walk around the museum in about 30 minutes.
If you are taking part in the paper cutting experience on the first floor or having tea in the cafe, please take your time and relax.

Can I purchase works from the museum?: Please enquire at the museum reception.

Are there diaper changing stations/nursing rooms?: There are no diaper changing stations. There is a diaper changing space in the restrooms on the second floor of the commercial facility next door.

Can I use Wi-Fi?: There is a free Wi-Fi spot in the cafe on the first floor. Please feel free to use it.

Can I apply for a workshop as a group?: Group workshops are available for groups of 5 or more, and must be booked in advance.
